Forti Corse, commonly known as Forti, was an Italian motor racing team chiefly known for its brief involvement in Formula One in the mid-1990s. It was established in the 1970s and competed in lower formulae for two decades with some success. The team graduated to F1 as a constructor and entrant in 1995 and continued into 1996, before succumbing to financial problems mid-season. The team competed in a total of 27 Grand Prix, and is recognised as one of the last truly privateer teams
to race in an era when many large car manufacturers were increasing their involvement in the sport.
This rolling chassis with a sequential gearbox and new Hewland parts was originally raced by Roberto Moreno and Pedro Diniz in the 1995 season. It came 7th with Diniz at the Australian GP then. Further well known drivers in 1996 were Luca Badoer and Andrea Montermini. During the last 10 years the car was only used for display and promotional purposes and is still in good condition. The
car comes with a comprehensive spare parts package including starter motor, one set of wheels, two complete undertrays, two petrol tanks, three wishbones, two new drive shafts, one front wing, right and left side flaps, one set of brake discs with brake pads, a complete exhaust system, steering box, transport front nose, differential gear wheel, new Hewland main shaft, 20 Hewland gearwheels, gearbox input shaft, sychronizer disc, gearbox oil cooler, front and rear stabilizers and
brake master cylinder. A Cosworth or Zetec 3 litre engine would ideally fit into this car to bring it back to the race track.
Fahrer waren in der Saison 1995 Roberto Moreno und Pedro Diniz. Die beste Plazierung war der 7.Platz beim GP Australien.
