1932 Ford B Cabriolet by Drauz

Strictly speaking the Model B was a four-cylinder car with a Ford Model A engine, but it was at this time that Ford began producing a very similar car with Ford's new Flathead V8 engine.
Today, the 1930s Model B is a highly collectible car. During the WWII period, when they were first getting old, the Model Bs and V8s were frequently altered into hot rods. This continued into the 1960s on a large scale. Since the 1970s, 1932 bodies and frames have been very expensive which has reduced the number of "rods" being created.
This extremely rare German Ford Cabriolet by Drauz is one of only nine made by the German coachbuilder Drauz of Heilbronn. Its rarity is further topped as it is basically a one owner car from new with only approximately 60,000km under its wheels since new. The car is in excellent original condition and is still fitted with all its original mechanics, body parts, trim etc. Needless to say that its engine is original as it left the factory 76 years ago. This is a unique opportunity for any serious marque collector and a most welcome entry to any pre-war rally, concourse or historic meeting.
Das Angebot dieses extrem seltenen Ford B mit seiner wunderschönen Karrosserie der Fa. Drauz Heilbronn ist sicher einmalig. Nur 9 dieser Cabriolets wurden seinerzeit von Drauz gebaut und das hier präsentierte Sammlerstück hatte außerdem bis 1990 nur 1 Besitzer und eine Gesamtlaufleistung von ca. 60000 lm. Laut Angabe des Einlieferers wurde der Wagen lediglich vor vielen Jahren neu lackiert und danach zur Erlangung eines neuen KFZ - Briefs für kurze Zeit zugelassen.
