The Renault 4 is also known as the 4L or ‘Quatre L’ in France and is a hatchback economy car which was produced between 1961 and 1994. It was the first front-wheel drive family car by Renault and was in essence Renault’s response to the 1948 Citroën 2CV. Renault successfully reviewed the advantages and disadvantages of the 2CV design and came up with a superior product.
On offer here is a desirable late-production example of the Renault 4 that rolled off the production line in 1992. Rarely are such well looked after, lovely and original examples of the iconic and hugely successful little Renaults offered for sale.
Offered at No Reserve on 18th May 2019 at Chiswick House.
