Description
Marcos continued their return in 2003 with the launch of the TS500. This is a revised version of the TS250, with a Javelin Engineering prepared 5-litre version of the Rover V8. Producing 320bhp and 350ft-lb of torque, this 1025kg car with a chassis developed from the ‘Le Mans’ car, gave it a 0-60mph of around 4 seconds and a top speed of over 160mph.
This Marcos is one of the last cars from the factory and is the prototype and press release car, a piece of motoring history. The car benefits from 17” alloy wheels, limited slip differential, power steering and air conditioning. There is also an extensive file including service history from new and the original brochure which the car featured in. Showing just 15,000 miles from new this wonderful piece of British sports car history comes with a UK V5C and current MOT. Described to be in an overall good condition this car would surely make a wonderful addition to any collection.
