This automobile originally registered in Northampton on the eighth of May 1936, carries well proportioned six-light coachwork by the celebrated coachbuilders Windovers. The finish is a lovely and highly appropriate period styled two-tone of Black over Maroon, with exquisitely kept black leather in the front compartment and Dover Grey fabric in the rear.
Today’s impressive example took part in the Pebble Beach Concours D’elegance on the 29th of August 1976 and received special notice from the judge who took the time to put his thoughts in writing and named it a ‘very nice car’ indeed.
Provided with the paperwork is its original registration book dating all the way up to 1963 and a test certificate from 1961. Amazingly provided with its original instruction book, and a fitted heater, this example was noted as having 17,600 recorded miles in 1976, and now reads 18,341, a tiny figure which would seem to be supported by the cars current condition.
