In 1969, the Jaguar 420 G was the epitomy of modern luxury saloon car motoring, it offered every conceivable refinement for its privileged owner. The advanced design 6 cyl. twin o.h.c 4.2 litre XK engine with triple carburettors provides the utmost in high performance motoring with exceptional smoothness and flexibility.
This very well preserved example resided in the warm climes of Australia before returning to the UK more recently. As such the car is very well preserved, with no rust present in the bodywork or floorpans, or evidence of previous repairs. The Jaguar starts easily and drives well, showing good oil pressure. Offered with a current MoT certificate and UK V5 document, this is a very sound example of Jaguar’s flagship model of the 1960s.
