The Mercedes-Benz W201 was the first small executive car from Mercedes-Benz which was introduced in 1982, positioned below the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and S-Class, and marketed under variants of the Mercedes-Benz 190 nameplate. The W201 featured a patented rear 5-link suspension, subsequently used in E and C class models, front and rear anti-roll bars, anti-dive and anti-squat geometry, as well as available airbags, ABS brakes and seatbelt pre-tensioners. The W201 enjoyed strong sales in Europe and Series production ended 13 April 1993.
This unique example has travelled a mere c.869km from new making it most likely the lowest mileage 190E available in the world. Of course, still in excellent condition throughout (both mechanically and cosmetically), we have numerous photos on file of the car which are available upon request. In completely original and unrestored condition and fitted with the following desirable options; air conditioning and 4x electric windows.
Offered with German documents, new TUV and technical report.
Still retaining its original tyres from 1986 as well as its original wax, the car spent the last chapter of its life at a school for car crafts. Never driven on the road. Only mileage has been done during tests.
