In 1990 Mercedes-Benz commissioned a limited production of 500 exceptional cars for DTM homologation reasons. Following the success of the first Evolution models, the Evolution II was sold out before the first examples had been completed. This wonderful original and unmodified Evolution II (number 275 of 500) was delivered new to France in 1991. The Evolution II was exported to Spain in 2004 with 64,000 kilometres showing, and now reads just 106,000 kilometers from new. Offered with invoices for much mechanical works over the years, in addition to all books, manuals and tools, this is a beautiful example of what is rapidly becoming one of the most collectible Mercedes-Benz of the modern era.
