Offered at No Reserve - All proceeds to go to the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital Appeal
The Arnage was introduced in the spring of 1998 and was the first entirely new design for the marque since 1980. The new Arnage was originally powered by a BMW V8 engine and from 2001, a heavily modified version of the old 6.75-litre Rolls Royce engine was fitted. The Arnage T, also from 2002, was claimed to be the most powerful road-going Bentley at its launch at the Detroit Motor Show. As with the Arnage R, there were twin turbochargers, but tuned to develop 459bhp and 645 lbf•ft of torque. The Arnage T’s 0–60 mph time was reported to be 5.5 seconds and a top speed of 170mph.
Retailing when new in 2000 at an impressive £145,025, this beautiful example has covered just 67,000 miles in the last 19 years. Finished in Fireglow Red with a magnolia leather interior and contrasting St. James Red dashboard, Birdseye Maple trim, piping, two tone steering wheel and carpet mats with lambswool overmats, this is a very well cared example of the model. The Bentley is offered with a document folder full of original MOTs, receipts and other information collected over the past 19 years of ownership. Notably the car enjoyed a refurbishment of the leather interior in 2018, a service in March 2018 which included the fitting of £2000 of new parts, and new tyres in 2017.
Offered with all proceeds to go to the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital Charity, this is a fabulous modern classic being sold in aid of an extremely worthy cause.
