Designed at Pininfarina under Frank Stephenson, the now Chief Designer at McLaren and widely regarded as one of the most influential automotive designers of our time. The 612 was produced at Ferrari’s Carrozzeria Scaglietti plant, the former home of the car’s namesake coachbuilder in Modena.
Indisputably an elegant car, with the added benefit of a genuinely practical interior. The cabin is snug yet spacious up front, with adult sized accommodation to the rear.
The ride is as smooth as you’ll find in any grand tourer, and any noise from outside is shut out with impressive efficiency. The forgiving controls also mean that the 612 is easy to drive in traffic and makes this car a truly comfortable all rounder and grand tourer. With the 5.8 litre V12 engine up front, The 612 Scaglietti shares its engine with the Ferrari 575M Maranello. The car has a top speed of 320 km/h (198.8 mph) and has a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 4.2 seconds.
This early 2005 model, from the cars’ second year of production between the years of 2004 – 2011, has come from a private collection and is described by the vendor as being in excellent condition, and has only covered around 44,000 miles from new.
The car has benefited from having a full service history having been maintained by HR Owen and Meridien Ferrari. In black with cream leather upholstery, this car is presented in lovely condition. Sold with a current MOT valid until 2016.
