The Heritage Edition Land Rover Defender was one of 3 special editions designed to celebrate the end of production of this iconic vehicle. They came in LWB, Commercial and Station Wagon.
On offer is the latter Station Wagon which has 4 seats and rear windows.
The details which set the Heritage out from its more basic brother is the distinctive Grassmere, metallic, pearl paintwork with white roof, it also has beige cloth interior, HUE166 decal on the n/s front wing and tags on the seats, it also has red and yellow rings on the gear and range levers which hark back to the series Land Rover gear levers, it also sits on body coloured steel rims and knobbly off-road tyres.
Limited to a production run of 400 this is a rare vehicle, unlike many of these vehicles the current owner has used his car but only in good weather. It has circa 12,000 miles on the clock and recently benefited from its first service at Hatfield Land Rover in Hull. It is powered by a 2.2litre Transit engine which delivers excellent economy and emissions.
Fitted with the following optional extras from new; the Land Rover tailor made seat covers bought to protect the beige cloth underneath (which is unmarked) and a CD/ radio with blue-tooth connectivity.
These uncommon Land Rovers rarely come to market other than a few overpriced delivery mile cars which were purchased purely as investments, this Land Rover is enthusiast owned and well cared for. It is presented in as-new condition and drives beautifully.
