DKW is a company that began its work with steam power, hence its name Dmapf-Kraft-Wagen (Steam-driven car). The firm produced its first motorcycle engine in 1919 and was named “Das Kleine Wunder” (the little marvel), and by 1930 DKW was the worlds largest motorcycle manufacturer.
The DKW we have on offer today is a lovely example of one of the earlier models with the additional option of a pillion seat situated on what is normally the luggage rack! With its twin exhaust, this sporty motorcycle would no doubt be fun on the open road.
