A Silver Plate oval serving salver with raised edge complete with scallop detailing and concave plant influenced centre design. This salver was presented to Jay Chamberlain and Bill Frost who Piloted a Lotus 11 Climax at the 1958 Florida International 12 Hour Grand Prix of Endurance. These two drivers were part of a race team that included Colin Chapman, Graham Hill, Ron Flockhart, Peter Ashdown, Alan Stacy and Innes Ireland. ‘That trophy was awarded to Team Lotus for finishing 9th overall and third in class in a Lotus 11 Climax’, (Ken Breslauer Communication Director and Track Historian). 18inches long and 13 inches wide, it is silver plate in good condition and stamped /EPC POOLE SILVER 1018’ on the under side and engraved on the top rim ‘ FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL 12 HOUR GRAND PRIX OF ENDURANCE’ and on the bottom rim ‘FOR THE AMOCO TROPHY SEBRING 1958 3rd CLASS G’
