Welcome to our review of 2015, which globally is accepted as being another solid year in the historic car world, with some great collections sold and notable prices being achieved in an active marketplace.
The international players in the marketplace such as Coys, Bonhams and RM Sotheby’s have all continued to enjoy positive results in 2015, and this is an indication of how embedded the historic car market is in the lifestyle culture of the 21st Century.
Our own calendar of events was impressive and International, with UK auctions in London, Blenheim Palace, the NEC and Ascot, with International sales in Essen, the Nurburgring, and a groundbreaking new auction at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Our events team were also busy, as you will see in these pages, throughout 2015, with a number of motorsport and charity events supported by Coys throughout the UK and Europe.
As you read this review, I hope that you too will reflect back with us on what an interesting and adventurous year 2015 was.
